EDyP: Offering the scientific community access to cutting-edge technologies for characterising protein and proteome.
OVERVIEW
The EDyP (Exploring the Dynamics of Proteomes) team is developing integrated biochemical, analytical and computational methods to detect, characterize and quantify proteins, enabling it to carry out ambitious projects in life sciences and health. It relies on a group of ~35 people with complementary expertise and a cutting-edge instrumental platform. The EDyP team is Ibisa-labelled, is a core node of the French proteomics infrastructure ProFI and its organization is ISO:9001 and NFX50-900 certified.
The EDyP-Service platform offers the scientific community a wide range of proteomic analysis services to support and carry out various academic and industrial projects: interactomics, identification and relative or absolute quantification of proteins in simple or complex samples, detection and quantification of post-translational modifications, etc.
EXPERTISE AND SERVICES
- Identification of proteins in complex biological samples
- Relative quantification of proteins in complex samples: label free, isobaric labelling, SILAC
- Interactomics
- Identification and quantification of post-translational modifications: phosphorylation, acetylation, methylation, disulphide bridges, etc.
- Absolute quantification of proteins using protein or peptide standards
- Characterisation of small intact proteins
- Fine characterisation of the structure of proteins and protein complexes (XL-MS)

HOW TO SUBMIT A PROJECT
The Grenoble Proteomics platform is open to the academic and industrial scientific community. To submit a project, you can send an email to Yohann Couté or go to the ProFI infrastructure website, in the “Analysis request” section, and choose Grenoble as the project location.
The platform team will work with you to assess the merits and feasibility of your project in terms of financial and human resources required for successful implementation. Depending on the project, the developments and the resources required, the platform may refer you to a call for collaborative projects (ANR, INCa, etc.) or offer you a collaborative or non-collaborative service delivery.
More information is available on the EDyP website.
