GRAL can fund up to 4 scholarships for Master 2 students joining one of the GRAL labs for a 6-month research internship next semester (January to June 2021).
The student must be registered in a Master 2 programme, in France or abroad. GRAL funding of 800€ per month includes the mandatory “gratification de stage”. We hope to attract outstanding student to Grenoble, who could be great candidates for a future PhD project at IRIG. Candidates will be selected on the basis of their M1 transcript and letter of recommendation, providing that the research project fits within GRAL’s research directions https://www.labex-gral.fr/research/research-directions/.
The supervisor must fill in the online form by Wednesday 21st October 23:59 CET, which includes a short description (300 words max.) of the research project and its relevance to GRAL’s objectives:

– student CV
– transcript for the 1st year of Master, and rank if available
– one letter of recommendation

Every year, GRAL and CBH Graduate School also fund scholarships to outstanding Master students (~8000€ over 10 months).
For GRAL, you will receive an invitation to send subjects for M2 scholarships during the winter, foreign and French students registered for a relevant M2 programme at UGA will be invited to send their application next spring.
For CBH Graduate School, foreign candidates (eligibility: first enrolment in France in a biology research-oriented Master programme at UGA) must first be selected for a Master programme to apply for the scholarship directly to the Head of Master. More information here.
